Calvin Cofield

Hip Hop Artist

Calvin is a Detroit Native, alumni of Wayne State University in Detroit, the C.E.O. of Calvin's World Productions, LLC and owner of a clothing line called Directed P.A.T.H (People Anointed Through Him). He is a writer, music producer, video director, playwright, photographer, actor, and fashion designer. Calvin attributes part of the inspiration to write his first song to Essie, his mother’s deceased hair dresser.

On September 3, 2014, he and Kimberly Rice (Now Cofield) released, “Let’s Move” on iTunes and Amazon. According to Calvin, “God gave him a vision for the song, that has two meanings; “let’s move”, meaning to get up and dance, and secondly, “let’s move” and do whatever it is God is calling you to do. Since release of the single “Let’s Move, Calvin and Kimberly Cofield have had radio interviews, TV show appearances, radio airplay, and performed in various churches in the Metropolitan Detroit area.

On April 17, 2015, Calvin and Kimberly opened for the Glory 2 God Gospel Explosion featuring Tamala Mann and Marvin Sapp in Detroit. Calvin’s next single was released fall 2015 followed by 8 -10 city tour, spring 2016. Calvin’s prayer is for his music and ministry to be a catalyst for change that reaches people around the world. A catalyst that promotes hope, salvation and deliverance through Jesus Christ.
